Click the arrow on the right to progress through the process of taking a panorama with our GUI. To view the full-sized original images click in the center of the image.

Startup

When the GUI starts up the user can enter the camera and lens parameters and the amount of overlap between the images.

Moving down

Moving down to the bottom right position (End Position)

End is set

The button is clicked that the pan/tilt is now at the bottom right of the panorama it is about to take

Moving to start

Once the End is set, the user can only move up and to the left to move to the start, or top left, of the panorama it is about to take. Information regarding the total field of view to be captured, the amount of images, and the estimated gigapixels contained in the panorama is displayed.

Start set

Once the pan/tilt has reached the top left position, or start position, the Set Start can be pressed to allow the user to press Start to initiate the panorama acquisition.

Started

The process has started and will now take the images at the needed increments and updates the user with through progress bar, percent completion, and status bar information.

Completed!

The capture of the panorama is now finished and the reset button is enabled in case the user wants to take another panorama.

Reset pressed

If the reset is pressed it returns to the start up screen...

FTP Access

During the entire process the device can be accessed via FTP. The Camera is connected via USB and can be downloaded from by going into the "USB Storage" folder which is the camera.
