My name is Gijsbert Maarten Ewout van Bekkum. I was born on the 25th of March in 1988 in Delft which is in the province Zuid-Holland in the Netherlands. I lived in the Netherlands for 12 years. In 2000 I moved along with my parents and sister to Atlanta, Georgia in the United States. I graduated with my undergraduate in Computer Engineering, summa cum laude, from the Georgia Institute of Technology in the spring of 2010  I'm currently finishing up my graduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech and have been a Graduate Teaching Assistant for ECE4180 (Embedded Systems Design) for Prof. J. Hamblen since August 2010.
